While Bright takes into account spend and makes sure your account never goes into overdraft, sometimes unexpected costs can cause an overdraft.
The good news is that it is really easy to be reimbursed for any bank fees incurred.
If you have an overdraft, let us know via email@example.com. Our system will locate any overdraft fees and you will be automatically reimbursed.
If for any reason we cannot locate the fees, Bright will ask you to provide some additional information, like a bank statement, so our team can review and get it sorted out as quickly as possible.
Bright has a fair and reasonable policy towards overdrafts. We will only reimburse for overdrafts caused by Bright transfers, and not for transactions initiated by the user, and we can only reimburse accounts that are still active.
