Why does Bright need my bank account and credit card information?

Bright analyzes your credit card and bank account transaction data to better understand your financial situation and give you the quickest and easiest way to manage your credit cards.

Your bank account information is encrypted and only ever available to you. We will never sell your data and we take immense efforts to keep your information safe and secure using bank grade security. We collect the money from your checking account to the Bright Smart account, money gets accumulated here and then paid towards your credit card after every few days, several times a month.

Once we meet your credit card minimum dues, we pay the remaining amounts to your credit cards with the highest APRs.
