Senior Product Manager

Bright Money is a Consumer FinTech company based in San Francisco, USA, and Bangalore, India. It builds consumer digital products that use Artificial Intelligence to improve how people make personal financial decisions, with their credit cards, checking accounts and personal savings.

The Bright team has a strong background in Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences. The team was founded by Avi Patchava (former McKinsey, InMobi), Petko Platchkov (former McKinsey, CommuterClub founder), Varun Modi (former InMobi) and Alexander Seyfert (former Amazon, Yahoo). Bright has raised funding of +$25m from 28 angel investors (incl. Naveen Tewari and Kunal Shah) between
San Francisco and Bangalore, and 4 Venture Capitalist funds: Sequoia, Falcon Edge, Hummingbird, and Oakhouse partners.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Product Manager - Mobile, you will help us build beautiful user interfaces that take complex financial concepts and turn them into a simple and delightful user experience. You will spend a lot of time thinking about the ‘perfect dopamine engine’ to help keep our users motivated on their journey to become debt free and help them celebrate every small step along the way. Working towards a better financial future needs to feel good and the path to get there less daunting.

This role reports directly into the Chief Product Officer (ex-Amazon). While this is an individual contributor role to begin with, you will have the opportunity to start leading a small team.

Required Skills
  • Drive the vision and development of our mobile apps on iOS and Android. Work closely with a passionate, cross-functional team across research, engineering, design, marketing and customer service to deliver amazing user experiences.
  • Create a clear product strategy based on deep understanding of our customer's needs and our company objectives.
  • Communicate your ideas in well-structured PRDs and wireframes.
  • Effectively manage the entire product lifecycle process from inception to successful launch.
  • Work closely with our users, research, and customer success to deeply understand and address user needs.
Your Skillset
  • Experience delivering highly successful and creative consumer Internet products with your fingerprints all over them - you’re proud of what you’ve accomplished.
  • Minimum of 4 years of Product management experience with focus on user-facing features.
  • Data-driven: you always get the data you need, and you can distill it into an insightful story. Most importantly, you leverage data to drive strategic decisions.
  • Technical skills. Ability to inform and evaluate engineering decisions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Customer obsession and strong bias for action
