American Express' Amex Every Day preferred credit card is a reward credit card. The card offers 3 points per $1 at U.S. grocery stores on purchases up to $6,000 annually, 2 points per $2 at U.S. gasoline stations and 1 point per $1 on all purchases.

You will receive 50% additional points if you spend 30 or more transactions with your card during a billing period. Credits and returns are not allowed.

You will receive 15,000 bonus points if you make $1,000 purchases in the first 3 months. The first twelve months are free of interest.

After that, the purchase price will increase to 12.99% to 22.99% depending on creditworthiness.

Benefits include car rental damage and insurance as well as Global Assist and return protection.
