Brex 30 Card Vs. American Express Business Gold Card

Annual fee: Brex 30 Card users pay an annual fee of $0 American Express Business Gold Card holders pay $295 annually (See Rates and Fees). Employers can be added to the card for no cost by businesses.

Reward: Brex 30 card holders receive seven points for every dollar spent on ride-shares, four points for booking flights or hotels through the Brex portal and three points each dollar when dining out. There are two points per $1 on eligible recurring subscriptions and one point per $ on all other purchases. American Express Business Gold Card holders earn 4 points per $150 on combined purchases up to $150,000 each year within the 2 categories that your company spends most. You'll then earn 1 point for every dollar.

Brex 30 Card welcome offer: Receive 50,000 bonus points as a sign up bonus when you approve. After you have spent $10,000 with American Express Business Gold Card eligible purchases within your first three months, you will earn 70,000 bonus point.
