TJX Rewards® credit card is typically for regular shoppers of the TJX group of companies and it's participating stores, such as HomeGoods, Marshalls, and Sierra Trading.
It gives members 5x points for each dollar they spend at the participating stores.
Since it's only for frequent users, the card should only be considered if you shop regularly at these stores.
Like many other loyalty cards, it comes with no annual fee and a significant APR.
High APR: The APR for purchases is around 26.99% for purchases made with the TJX Rewards Credit Card.
People who miss payments or tend to carry a balance on their credit cards will be penalized or overcharged on their next purchase.
Expiry of rewards: TJX Rewards Credit Card have a two year expiration date, meaning you can't combine rewards for a mega purchase.
Annual fee: $0 for both the cards.
Rewards: The TJX Rewards Credit Card gives 5 points for every dollar spent at TJ group of companies and it's participating stores. The TJX Rewards Platinum Mastercard gives a 5 points for every dollar spent at TJX stores and also 1 point for every dollar spent anywhere else.
Sign-up bonus: When you sign-up with either of the cards, you will receive a 10% discount off your first purchase. Both the cards receive a 10% coupon on the first purchases.
If you are:
You are a frequent shopper at TJ Maxx stores and participating stores.
You do not carry forward a balance month on month.
You make on-time payments.
