The circumstances under which people have been forced to work have not changed in recent months, thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic. But that has not stopped the Bright-Ones! We have been doing all we can to keep our interactions, daily tasks and learning ongoing in full zeal, come what may.
While we see and hear that a lot of companies are actively downsizing, we’ve gone the complete opposite. At Bright, we are currently expanding our hiring efforts two-fold, because great talent and exceptional people are always welcome here.
Onboarding is just as important as hiring, because making a new joinee feel welcome is a priority. The first day at a workplace is a day people always remember. Our remote onboarding process covers interaction, learning and team-bonding efforts. We do all that we can to assist our employees, no matter where they are.
The Bright team is committed to ensuring that each and every individual is involved in the overall company mission. We meet regularly using online platforms. This helps us align with the company goals and monitor our progress. The constant support and motivation of the team keeps us going.
Each goal that is met or milestone that is achieved calls for a celebration. We don’t hold back when it comes to appreciating our Bright-Ones. Birthdays and anniversaries are also a time for togetherness. We uphold our Bright tradition of making the birthday boy or girl the centre of our attention, even if it is through the computer screen!
You’d think that remote working would make the team lose touch with their fun side, but absolutely not! At Bright, we meet every other day to attend virtual Zumba classes, yoga and S&C. Additionally, we also host game nights, which is a great way to end the week.
